	Overview of UL's 2006 Changes to UL508A for Short Circuit Current Ratings (07-01-2008) This PDF file (788 KB) is based on the PowerPoint slides used during the Lunch 'n Learn Seminar held on Feb.12, 2008. The presentation includes: - how the changes are manifested in the NEC - definitions and methods to determine SCCR of components and panels - how to achieve significantly higher SCCR's for panels through use of tested component combinations - a survey of available fault levels at 300 industrial installations - NEC & UL508A marking requirements - information on current limiting with breakers and fuses This presentation was rated "Excellent" (75%) or "Good" (25%) by attendees.
